All the Rumored PS5 Games So Far

game

Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Microsoft’s Xbox Series X are toe to toe in competition. As the latter half of 2020 will come to an end, we will be seeing the launch of the two next-generation consoles. Both Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 will be getting a few exclusive titles, multiplayer games and AAA titles. But there are still many video games that we wish to see on PlayStation 5. Some of these titles are rumored for launch but some don’t have any such information out yet. It’s all a guessing game. So what are those rumored titles potentially joining PlayStation 5? Keep reading to find out!

Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Square Enix’s PlayStation 4 exclusive title, Final Fantasy 7 remake is rumored for an Xbox One and PC launch. However, the game is a recent release on the PS4 so it’s highly likely for it to receive a spot on the PS5 game repository as well. No official statement has been out yet so presumably the game’s release will not be on the launch day of PS5.

The Last of Us: Part 2

Another PlayStation 4 exclusive game, The Last of Us: Part 2, is rumored to make an entry on the next-gen PS5 console. Naughty Dog is yet to address the rumors with an official announcement. The game has earned mixed reviews on its PlayStation 4 release but it’s only fair to bring Joel and Ellie’s story to the next-gen console.

Grand Theft Auto 6

Now this one is solely out of pure anticipation. The last Grant Theft Auto sequel we got was GTA V that too in 2013. So it’s only fair to expect a GTA 6 release by Rockstar Games. With the launch date of PlayStation 5 crawling closer, we can only wait it out.

Death Stranding

Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding supports two platforms – PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows. Varied Steam titles and PS4 games are getting a spot on PS5 so it’s only logical for Death Stranding to secure a spot for itself, as well. However, no official statement has been made so far by both Sony and Hideo Kojima. While we are hearing many rumors about the game’s potential PS5 release, let’s see if the rumors will prove to be solid or not.

Ghost of Tsushima

Sucker Punch is known for its Infamous series but if you place Ghost of Tsushima and any Infamous game side by side you will find no similarities between the two. Ghost of Tsushima’s visuals, gameplay and storyline isn’t what you’d expect from a typical Sucker Punch game. And that’s what makes the game all the more interesting. Ghost of Tsushima has a confirmed release date of July 17, 2020 and that’s not too far from the launch timeline of PS5. The game is likely to earn a place on the upcoming Sony console.

We get Steam’s Destiny 2 and Warframe which is quite novel for a gaming console. Since you would require a stable internet connection to play these cross-platform multiplayer games, make sure you don’t have a connection that lags out on you.
